Physical Science
Have you ever thought about whether sound travels farther through air or water? Will a car with large wheels or small wheels go faster? How does an airplane stay in the air? In this class, we will explore basic principles of physics and chemistry, including laws of motion, simple machines, forms of energy, atomic structure, and chemical reactions. There will be several labs to try out the concepts we’re learning. We will also highlight careers in science, with guest speakers when available.
